Traveling by car or motorcikle
City of Split is connected to the European highway network. During the summer months, the traffic at border crossings is heawy, which can cause shorter delays. A valid national drivers' license is sufficient to drive in Croatia. You pay tall at highways and some tunnels.

Railway network connects all major Croatian cities except Dubrovnik. Direct train lines connect Croatia with Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, France, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro. Ferries and ships
There are regular passenger and ferry lines between Italian (Venice, Trieste, Ancona, Pescara and Bari) and Croatian ports. Daily ferry line connects Rijeka and Split all year long. This ferry continues towards Dubrovnik thrice a week. There are regular ferries and speed hydrofoils to islands.
